“O God of fathomless mercy, who allow me to give relief and help to the dying by my unworthy prayer ” – St. Faustina #835

Created by Books of Faith

No One Dies Alone was inspired by Fr.Philip as he encourages all to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for the dying.

Now more than ever due to the pandemic of COVID-19, many will die physically alone.  They will meet their end without the comfort and consolation of their relatives and loved ones due to insolations that many are place in an attempt to slow down the spreading of this virus.  We are begging you to join this movement to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy daily, for the ones dying.

In the Diary of St. Faustina, Faustina was spiritually transported by the Lord in order to pray the Chaplet at the bedside of a dying man she did not know.

“I saw the man dying in the midst of terrible torment and struggle, His Guardian Angel was defending him but he was , as it were, powerless against the enormity of the soul’s misery. A multitude of devils were waiting for the soul. But while I was saying the chaplet, I saw Jesus just as He is depicted in the image. The rays which issued from Jesus’ heart enveloped the sick man, and the power of darkness fled in panic. The sick man peacefully breathed his last.

I understood how very important the Chaplet was for the dying.

Divine Mercy in My Soul Diary #1565

Jesus’ Promises To The Dying.

  • Pray as much as you can for the dying. By your entreaties obtain for them trust in MY mercy, because they have most need of trust, and have it the least. Be assured that the grace of eternal salvation for certain souls in their final moments depends on your prayer. (#1771)

  • I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the merciful Savior. (#1541)

  • At the hour of their death, I defend as My own glory every soul that will say this chaplet; or when others say it for a dying person, the indulgence is the same. (#811)
